Definition of Adverb
An adverb is a term that expresses the how, when, where, or extent of an action or process. It frequently describes more about the verbs. For example in the sentence "She quickly ran," the adverb "quickly" is used to describe how she ran.
Adverbs can also be used to characterize other adverbs as well as adjectives.

a) To Modify Verbs (Verb ka Matlab Tabdeel karne ke liye):
Examples:
- She sings beautifully. ("beautifully" is an adverb that tells us how she sings.)
- Wo khoobsoorti se gati hai.
- He shouts loudly. ("loudly" is an adverb that tells us how he shouts.)
- Wo ooncha chillata hai.
- The train was moving slowly. ("slowly" is an adverb that tells us how the train moved.)

b) To Modify Adjectives (Adjectives ka Matlab Tabdeel Karne Ke Liye):
Adverbs can also modify adjectives to give more information about them.
Examples:
- He is extremely tall. ("extremely" is an adverb describing the degree of tallness.)
- Wo bohot ziada lamba hai.a
- He is too weak. ("too" is an adverb describing the degree of weakness.)

- Eemandari se, Mujhe nahi pata
- Surely, I did everything correctly. (Here, "Surely" sets the tone for the entire statement.)

e) To Indicate Time (Waqt Batane Ke Liye):
Adverbs are frequently used to express when an action happens.

i) To Express Certainty or Probability (Sambhavna ya Yaqeeni Situation Batane Ke Liye):
Adverbs like "definitely," "probably," and "maybe" convey the level of certainty or probability of an action.

- Maybe, it will rain tonight.
